All hope is gone- 01.09.25

Vivid was the sky once. A cheerful array of blues overhead. Back when the rain drizzling down meant the above was abundant with tears of joy, and hope for what our world would become. Back when the sun beaming down was a gift, the warming radiance brightening the faces of those below.

Now the sky scorns down in agony. Its dark demeanour lurking overhead. The drops of misery pelting down, no longer as rain, a sign of elation, but as tears of despair. Tears of longing for what society could have been. Tears of fury to the cruelty of the people. Tears of helplessness to the mess we became.

No longer is the sun full of warmth, only rage engulfs it. Its ability to comfort has been purloined by the darkness of our souls. The ball of fire scorns down at the mess of the world, the monsters that inhabit our minds, the true horror of humankind. The mess that no one can solve, but us. And even our capability is fading away as the shadows continue to drown us in seas of melancholy.

All hope is gone.
